SAM Labs gets hands-on with educators at Bett 2018 January 29, 2018 We loved meeting new faces and old at BETT 2018! We spoke to thousands of educators from all over the world and showed them how they could bring coding and creating to their classroom. Visitors to our stand got to delve deeper into the curriculum-aligned content in our lesson plans and try out our new kits first hand. This is what we got up to: Hands-on demos and workshops SAM Labs believes that teachers need to feel confident with STEM-based learning in order to teach it effectively. They need to trust that they have the right skills and resources to deliver lessons that children will genuinely enjoy. We prepared fun projects for visitors to our stand so they could see what SAM Labs has to offer. We really enjoyed talking to each and every one of you and gained valuable feedback regarding your experience with SAM Labs.Have a look below to see the SAM Labs team and educators in action! Presentations by the SAM Labs team, Microsoft Education Vice President Anthony Salcito and much more! We had the huge honour to welcome Microsoft Education Vice President Anthony Salcito to our stand to talk about how SAM Labs fits into the modern classroom. Our fantastic SAMbassador Karen Fleming was also on our stand alongside her brilliant students. Karen shared her experience with SAM Labs and explained how her students have been using their kits throughout their lessons - from history to computing class.James Culley from London Design and Engineering UTC was there with his students showcasing the inventions they had created with our kits. SAM Labs is incredibly impressed by all the creative projects they had come up with! Missed us this year? Don’t worry - we’ll be there next year. See you at Bett 2019!
